How to Resize Logos
A printmaker sends you a logo file with specific dimensions. If you do not have expensive third-party graphics applications, you'll resize your company logo using Microsoft Paint. This application is included with all versions of the Windows OS. Resizing a logo only takes a couple of steps, then you'll upload it to an internet site and include it on your sites.

Step 1
Right-click your logo file on your disk drive. Select "Open With." Microsoft Paint is included within the list of software compatible with the brand file format. Select "Paint" and click on "Open" to open your logo within the software.

Click the "Image" button at the highest of your software and choose "Resize." This action opens a dialog window in Paint.

Check the box labeled "Maintain ratio ." This avoids distortion once you resize the image. within the "Resize" section, enter the logo's new dimensions. you'll also use percentages. as an example, type "50" to scale back the image size by 50 percent.

Step 4
Click the "Paint" button at the top-left corner. Select "Save" to save lots of the changes to the logo's size.
